Galina-The Oldest and Best of Jumper Bloodlines

Galina is sired by Grande. Grande is known as a versatile sire due to his jumping influence from Graf and his dressage influence from Duellant. The Grande line dominates the sport of jumping in Germany. He has sired more than 40 approved sons and is ranked in the German Eternal Top 10 Sire List.
 

Galina was bought at the elite auction at Glenwood Farms in California at the same time we bought our mare Sumatra (Spartan.) We bought her due to her exceptional jumping pedigree...and in particular her sire Grande. We find the Grande line to be remarkably intelligent and kind. Galina was no exception! A big older style mare she is a horse of the heart. Galina is retired now from our broodmare group and spends her time with her best friend Sumatra (Spartan.)
