Winona L-Chestnut 2003 Waterford/DeNiro mare

Winona is a beautiful smaller chestnut mare. Standing 15.3 (1-07) she would need a smaller rider...unless she decides to grow!!! With Hanoverians one never knows!
 

"Winona" means "first born" in native American language and she was the first-born foal of our mare EM De La Rosa/Dela (DeNiro.) "Dela" was imported from Germany in foal to Waterford. Waterford was one of the top ranked stallions in the breeding index for 2005 with scores of (BV 163 points, Assurance 91 %). Dela is an Elite mare in the AHS. Winona was started under saddle Summer 2008. She is now training at Leatherdale Farms West in Rancho Santa Fe, CA with our trainer Sue Blinks. She is moving beautifully and showing great potential as a dressage horse. We anticipate good things from her.
