Donata is a very lovely bay feminine type with excellent bloodlines.
 

Donata L is eligible to become an Elite mare as she scored an 8 in her in hand testing. Donata won the 2004 Bari von Bruedingen Memorial Trophy (tie) in 2004 awarded to the highest scoring Hanoverian mare seen during The American Hanoverian Society's annual inspection tour. (In 1994 Leatherdale Farms EM Wonder Girl also won this with an 8.0 score.) We bought Donata L as a foal at the Verband Elite Mare and Foal auction in Verden Germany and she stayed with her pasture friend Dutch Flower at the farm of Adelheid and Hans Heinrich Bruning until they reached age two. At that time we imported both to Minnesota. She received a 9 on her type and femininity at her inspecion for good reason! We feel she will be a beautiful broodmare. We look forward to her foal by Herzensdeib in July 2011.
